Louise Byrne is the founder of Story Interiors, a boutique interior design studio based in Surrey. Story’s design philosophy centres on creating homes that are grounded in functionality, yet feel quietly luxurious, thoughtfully resolved, and deeply comfortable to live in. Guided by an understanding of how our surroundings subtly shape the way we feel, Louise designs spaces that nurture an enduring sense of calm, comfort and liveable beauty.

Guided by a passion for a modern European sensibility, Story Interiors is rooted in timeless classic design with a relaxed, contemporary point of view. Drawn to natural materials such as timber, stone and limewash for their honesty and texture, Louise’s work favours restraint, muted palettes and patina, resulting in spaces that feel slowly crafted.

With an emphasis on an approachable and collaborative process that puts the client at the heart of each project, Louise brings care and clarity to every stage, solving practical challenges while easing decision-making.
